DePere, WI- Cleaning Systems Inc^® and its Lustra™ division announce the launch of their new chemical system, Ultraflex^®.  After years of research and development, Lustra™ has produced a system of high performing products unlike anything available in the market today.  This system of advanced chemicals and equipment is expected to revolutionize the carwash industry.  Dave Krause, President and CEO of Cleaning Systems, Inc, understands the challenges of the shipping and handling of conventional carwash chemicals.  “We developed the Ultraflex system with safety, convenience, money savings and environmental responsibility as key attributes.  These are only a few of the many benefits of Ultraflex,” said Krause.

Lustra’s Ultraflex is ultra concentrated formulas that eliminate drum products for ease of use and handling.  The chemicals are provided in sustainable, easy to recycle gallon bottles packaged four to a recyclable cardboard case.  The base product is formulated using a powder that is combined with water into a stable solution after just one mixing.  Chemicals can be combined at the wash site, enabling operators to control the consumer experience by adjusting cleaning capabilities, foam, scent and colors for any product.  “The flexibility and convenience Ultraflex provides operators is unique to the industry and saves them money,” said Doug Marquis, Vice President of Lustra.  The system is currently in over 70 sites across the country in tunnels, self serve and in bay automatic applications and is compatible with virtually all carwash equipment. 

The complete Ultraflex system contains no phosphates, hydrofluoric acid (HF), ammonium bifluoride (ABF) or nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPE) and is part of Lustra’s extensive Earth Ready^® program.  Exclusive use of Lustra’s Earth Ready products qualifies operators to obtain special marketing materials to inform customers of the green focus in their wash.  “These Ultraflex formulas align to our commitment to provide safe and environmentally friendly solutions for carwash employees, consumers and their community,” said Dave Krause.

The Ultraflex system was introduced last week via the internet to the principals of Lustra’s vast network of distributors.  It included a promotional video that explains the system and its many advantages over conventional products.  General introduction is planned to be at the Car Care World Expo in Las Vegas next week.  “As more and more operators learn about the system and its advantages, we are confident that demand will be high,” said Krause.
