Cleaning Systems, Inc. (CSI) of De Pere, Wisconsin has announced the introduction of a new winter cleaning product, UF215 Low pH Presoak with Salt Halt™.
UF215 Low pH presoak with Salt Halt™ is a new ultra-concentrated winter presoak designed for use in the Ultraflex® System which effectively removes salt, magnesium chloride, and other corrosive, hard to remove, residue left on vehicles from de-icing road treatments. The product’s development was predicated on the idea that, within the snow belt, thorough removal of road salt from vehicles represents the KEY element of winter car washing, and was designed in response to requests from Lustra® customers around the globe. The product’s performance was perfected through extensive testing in variable climates with a myriad of road salt and de-icing “brine” treatments.
It is important to note that the product is not an additional specialty product that must be added by car washes. It is a premium Lustra® presoak which contains an advanced chemical additive, Salt Halt™, which effectively removes salt, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and beet juice. The product is designed for use in areas where winter conditions require road treatments. In those cases, it is intended to replace a car wash’s existing presoak during the winter months, eliminating the need for an additional arch or application, as well as saving water and time. UF215 Low pH PreSoak with Salt Halt™ contains surfactants which provide maximum adsorption on high-energy crystal lattice and exceptional interaction between salt removing solution and winter contaminants on vehicle surfaces.
In addition to the release of UF215 Low pH Presoak with Salt Halt™, a variety of Salt Halt™ marketing materials are being made available to Lustra® distributors and car wash owners and operators to promote their use of this advanced product which effectively removes salt and de-icing brine residue from vehicles.
