CSI® Introduces A Newly Redesigned UltraFlex Reservoir and Integrated Self-Closing and Latching Lid
In response to customer feedback on how to continue adding value to our Ultraflex System, CSI is happy to introduce a newly redesigned reservoir with an integrated self-closing and latching lid.
All reservoirs will now ship with the new body design and a new receiver/lid combo unit. The lid system helps to prevent contamination if/when the gallon is removed or if the reservoir is subjected to unusually wet conditions. When an empty bottle is removed, the lid automatically closes and latches in a clipped position to better protect the product in the container.
You will notice that this new reservoir body design also has been pre-drilled to accept the addition of iLevel 2.0 and there is a 2” plug inserted for those customers who may not use that monitoring system feature in the future. Additionally, the new units include a PVC Chase Tube for the chemical draw hose, thereby eliminating the need for a separate weight in order to keep the foot valve in place.

Benefits of the new Design:
- All reservoirs will ship with the newly designed reservoir receiver and lid molded out of polypropylene for chemical resistance. The new design features a self-closing lid to prevent contamination anytime a gallon is changed or removed from the reservoir.
- All reservoirs will include 1 product hole with a PVC Chase Tube and grommet and one hole for receiving an iLevel sensor which is shipped with a 2” plug installed.
a. We are also in the process of developing a new grommet for the reservoir tube that will accommodate both ¼” and 3/8” hoses.
- The PVC tube has been cut straight purposely. Due to the design of the reservoir bottom we have more than adequate flow of product to the foot valve that is in excess of 1 gallon per minute.
